The Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders compete in a multitude of team sports. The men take part in football, baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, tennis, and track while the women engage in basketball, cross country, golf, volleyball, tennis, softball, track, and soccer. Tennessee Miller Coliseum -
Located near the MTSU campus in Murfreesboro, the 220,000-square-foot Tennessee Miller Coliseum opened its doors in 2003. Named for John C. "Tennessee" Miller, the facility features a 150-by-300-foot floor, a covered warm-up area, almost 500 10-by-10 animal stalls, nearly 70 camper hookups, 400 paved parking spots, and a state-of-the-art sound system. The coliseum, which seats 4,600 people and can be extended to a capacity of 6,500, is the place to come to see local, state, regional, national and international horse show events.
